when does she usually come on?
Re: is Brittany here?
I'm here! I'm a sad-sack west coaster and I roll in LATE.
How was Vegas?
oh ok, lol!
how was your trip!??!?!?
we had a good time save for the cold I got thursday PM
. Did you hear that someone robbed the Vegas Hilton?
Dh and I were on the 7th floor. One night, this old guy kept knocking on our door at like midnight and kept putting his finger over the peephole. I almost called the front desk on his ass. Then, Dh saw a guy dragging his very very drunk wife into a room a few doors up from ours. weird!
Also, do you know if the Venetian is the one that has the perfumed air? It was the only one that didn't smell like cigars and ass (or as I like to say, cigarass).
The trip was great! About one day too much with my mom, but that's to be expected.
I had not heard about the Hilton! That's wild, because we hung out at the Hilton a LOT. We found their casino to be our favorite of all the places we visited. My mom's a slot whore, and found the nickel machine of her dreams, while I found an awesome blackjack machine that lets you play 7 hands at once! I also won a decent chunk of change at their roulette tables.
We were on the 9th floor. To be honest, I was pretty unimpressed with Harrah's, and I will not be returning. Housekeeping really slacked on cleaning up our room, and left some other guest's coupons on our nightstand. That was weird. I also had awful internet problems and got 4 different answers from 4 different people. For a hotel that caters to convention guests, they should really get their internet situation under control. I am hoping to bring DH back for our anniversary in March, and I'd love to stay at Paris!
Lots of creepy action on your floor, for sure!! I would definitely have called security, although I doubt anyone would have come up for 2 hours.
Now that I think about it, I am pretty sure the Venetian pumps something into their air. My mom thought it was incense, but to me it smelled like (don't laugh, I know this is dumb) "freshly showered jock." It smelled like soapy skin, aftershave and hair products all in one. At first i thought it was the group of guys in front of us, but then I smelled it elsewhere. I could even smell it outside!!
I don't know about you, but I took dozens of pictures of the Venetian and all the bridges, canals, gondoliers, everything. I'd never seen it before, and it was so dazzling!
