Re: Happy Hump Day!

  • Mine was good. Since I am still out of work I decided to make one of those 101 in 1001 lists. I think I am up to 20 things now.
  • BTW, how do you follow your blog? I couldn't find the link on your page.
  • It was ok... after the puppy fiasco I went to Home Depot and got a new lock and latch for our gate! Then I made my monthly Costco run--- I <3 Costco! :) Then I got lost inside Cost Plus World Market and had to buy several different bottles of wine, lol (One is a Merlot called Cupcake tht sounded Delicious! I'm going to break into it tonight!)!  I even got stuff for a gift basket which turned out really cute! I surprised myself!

Then I went to dinner with a friend of mine- his wife was working in Sacramento and my husband was working in SD so we went to a little restaurant in Hemet, lol- I never thought I'd be hanging out in Hemet on a weeknight, lol! But they have the greatest little italian place- Mama Maria Datillo makes the noodles and bread by hand every day! And the granddaughter and her husband are the servers, and Guiseppe Datillo sings opera and serves... its a great little place :)

Not too shabby of an evening :)

Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
  • Diana- sorry about that! I set up a new layout awhile ago and never added a follow me button. I have been a bad blogger lately and still haven't set up the links at the top or my sidebars. It's been almost 3 months since I changed the layout too.

Last night, I made chicken stirfry and we watched AI. No plans for tonight either.

Ok, I haven't heard of this before--- is it kind of like a "bucket List" but for 2010?

  • It ate my last post :( Since it was too cold to walk w/ the kids outside I was going to take them to mall but they both fell asleep so I drove around for abit and we ended up at the used bookstore. I got 3 books for myself and they each got to pick out a book. Joaquin had a bad teething fit and the sniffles so I decided to head home. Isabel was so sad about missing out on the mall that I stopped at Sonic to get her an ice cream cone. So she ate, while I read and J napped. (by the way their $1 cones are HUGE!!) Than home for dinner and more playing. Today more of the same and maybe a visit from my MIL.

    Ditto :)

Let's see, last night was again, pretty mellow. P stayed home from work but I was so tired that I asked him to give C a bath. I finally started washing my clothes (funny how we push off things that matter/affect us than anything else) so by tonight I will be fully caught up. During lunch I have to run a few errands. I'm getting stuff together for my brother's care package. I'm still waiting for address info on my other brother. He joined the Navy last month & is in bootcamp. There's also a book I wanted so I might pick that up too. Exciting time in AZ. :p

  • I went for another walk/jog. I think i must have gottena bout 3 miles in, yay! After we got home I just cleaned up and hung out with l until A got home.
  • Last night I tried to make a sweet and spicy chicken and broccoli but it ended up being a bit of a failure since I oversteamed the broccoli and the end result wasnt pretty. I was a bit disappointed but it still tasted pretty good, might have to try again at some other point in time. After dinner we watched Lost and Desperate Housewives and called it an early night.

    Today not much planned...

  • I had an eye dr appointment last night after work.  My eyes have changed a little and I'm now a little farsighted as well as extremely nearsighted...isn't getting old fun?  C made dinner for Sarah last night so it was ready when I got home, which was nice.  We then played with Sarah until her bedtime.  I then went to bed right after.  My sinus infection is a little better but is now draining so I've become super-congested and started coughing which made sleep a bit difficult.

Had a dentist appointment this morning and have to go back on Monday to have a filling re-done.  Tonight we have to straighten up the house and make sure the guest room is cleaned up...my sister flies in tomorrow for the big birthday weekend!  Yay!  I can't wait!!

Hope everyone has a great day!
