last week TJ's boss called me to ask me to come to a recognition luncheon for TJ today, since it was coming to the end of his employment, they wanted to do something really special. it ended up being a surprise baby shower for me! (well, us, i guess - LOL). it was so thoughtful and overwhelming...i had only met a handful of his coworkers before and they were EXTREMELY generous with their gifts.
and for a baby update...i'm 1 cm dialated and 50% effaced...doctor thinks the baby is already at or near 8 pounds, so they are sending me for an ultrasound tomorrow to get a better idea of baby's weight...and they will consider inducing me early. oh, and TMI, lost my mucus plug today! 
i hope i can go until my due date...but at the very least until saturday. i'm hosting a fundraiser for the boys and girls club (i'm on the board) and it is friday night, i'd really like to be there! LOL
i'll try to upload the pics of me and the nursery tonight/tomorrow, and should have updated pics of Baby Sharpie from the u/s tomorrow!

Wow, I can't believe your baby is almost here! Just to reassure you, the baby weight estimates are notoriously off. They thought Nadia would be in the high 7's to 8 lbs and she was only 6lb 15oz!
I hope you make it through Saturday and that when your labor starts, it goes quickly and as painlessly as possible!
