Need someone to help with interior painting?
A few weeks ago, austxgrl posted that she was offering to clean houses to raise funds in her quest to have a baby. I have a cleaner I'm happy with but I do want to help so asked if she could come over and assist me in painting our master bedroom. It's a project I've been putting off for far too long. DH hates painting. I'm very happy with the results. She's got a cool edging tool that makes a perfect line at the ceiling and the girl's just got mad painting skills as far as I'm concerned. I'm picky when it comes to paint too. I will be using her to finish many other paint projects after I head back to work.
I purchased BEHR Ultra Primer/Paint from Home Depot, worth every penny. Our master is 17X15. I'd patched earlier in the day (needed time to dry) and started taping off but we finished taping, painted one coat and cleaned up in about 3 hours. The color (Gobi Desert) looks different in every light but it's the perfect neutral sandy beige!
