Granite and kitchen cabinet recs
Looking for good quality, variety of choices, but reasonably priced when we redo our kitchen...suggestions???
Re: Granite and kitchen cabinet recs
Similar questions about kitchen remodels have been asked in the past. See my and others responses here. I know there were other threads but don't see them in my history so hopefully others can re-post their info, too.
Let me know if you have any questions about the people we used. Would definitely reco them all. Good luck!

A friend did Granite Transformations. I went to the show room with her and I thought it was so-so given the cost. You can tell it's not real granite. Home Emporium on Ridge has (or had, haven't been there in a year) granite in stock for around $20 a square foot. Installation is another $20. A friend used them in the house they were selling and their new house and was very happy. It's a great deal if you're ok with the color/selection there.
As for cabinets, I used American Woodmark white laminate cabinets through Home Depot. The cabinets aren't bad but the laminate is popping up. I wish I had either gone with a better brand or regular wood in the American Woodmark brand. The contractors HD hired sucked beyond all belief!!
www.nisbetbrower.com has a great selection and reasonable prices. I would recommend checking out their showroom.
