Some of you commented on this in a different post. I saw it on a few nest siggy's and decided I wanted to do it. DH and I haven't fully decided when we want to start TTC, but it will be at least 3 years minimum. Since this goes for 2.75 years, we are trying to think of things we want to do before we have children. So far we have 51. When my list is done I will post it. Here is the info on it:
About The Project
Welcome to Day Zero, the home of the 1001 Day Project. A unique
challenge that inspires you to set and achieve your personal goals in
life.
The Challenge:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either
measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie.
represent some amount of work on your part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple challenges such as New
Year's resolutions or a 'Bucket List'. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that
is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year,
because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips, study semesters, or outdoor activities.
Re: 101 in 1001-List is Done
That's a great list!
You should definitely hit the temecula sat farmers market. It's crowded so the earlier the better. The new one in Old Town Murrieta is smaller but growing.
And if you want I can rec some good thrift stores in the area. It's a new fav pastime of mine.
And if you go to Karoke on Sat night you will have met at least 2 new people from the area
I think DH and I need to sit down and make a list too.
You sounds like a huge help! I am really excited about the list. It finally puts it all out there in terms of what the two of us want to do. We didn't want to have another year go by and think, what did we do? how did we enjoy life? The list seemed like the perfect answer. Can't wait to meet you tomorrow.
Oh, and I would love the list of stores.
