S/O Age

The posts below got me thinking about age. I am happy right where I am, probably the happiest I have ever been.  What age would you say you were/are the happiest? Why?

For me, I am settled into my life. I love my DH, dogs, good job, etc.

Re: S/O Age

  • I'm really happy right now.  However I was also loving the year before I met K.  I was having a blast, felt good about my job, and drank tons of yummy cosmos.  I guess I'll have to consider that the best year of my 'youth' and now this time of adulthood is the best.

  • I have to say that when I was 23 was probably my happiest year ever for me.  I had a good job and was looking forward to the future.  I can't say I'm the happiest right now but I'm certainly much wiser now.
  • 29 was an excellent year because its the year I got married to my best buddy!!!

I also looooved being 26 - I lived on my own, dated and met DH!

  • I am super happy now (29).  DH & I have a great marriage, a house, and a baby on the way.  We are more financially secure than we ever have been and I have a job that I love.  I don't think things have ever been better.

And I'm not even remotely scared of turning 30!

  • I'm happy now, but my early 20s and college years were so awesome! I was a lot more carefree then! I was traveling the world, had a great bf (now H) and made some of the best friends of my life. I also partied a lot and never got hangovers- oh to return to those days haha!!
  • I'm loving my 36 years right now- great house in great neighborhood, amazing hubby, Cletus on the way, MANY options for work if I want to work, and a healthier bank account than I've had in a long time (not counting my special account we used for the house's down payment- but that was used wisely.) Like TWO said- I guess this is my favorite "adult" year. As for "young adulthood-" I LOVED being 23- beating cancer, working at a wilderness camp in N.C. and living at the beach in my time off, dating around, going to the Beach Tavern for some fun, had amazing co-workers/roommates, traveling on a whim when I got time off, and canoeing/backpacking/ropes course instructing when I was working.
  • This has been one of my favorite "adult" years.  S and I are so much more financially stable, we have our little fuzz on the way and things are looking even more up for us!  I love it.

As for my young years, I would LOOOOVE to be 16-17 again.  I was spoiled and my dad bought me a car when I was 16.  I didn't have to work, my dad gave me money, the whole entire summer was spent with friends at Grafton, Lake George, Great Escape or my dad's house/pool.  I didn't have a care in the world :)  Ahhh, the good old days!  I also really liked 21-22.  I was going to college and also watching my young sisters, so it was fun to watch them grow and be able to take them wherever we wanted to go.  I had no work contraints.  I still realllly miss being with them all the time, especially in the summer when we would do such fun things!  Not to mention Fenway and I were at the bar like almost every night!  LOL!

  • The summer before I met DH was probably my fav time.  I was carefree, had a blast with my gf's, and had no worries.....
  • I posted 22 but I would do any of my teenage years in a heartbeat they were great.?

Also I loved 20. I was on the cusp of going to a big university, I met DH, worked with my bff all summer and just had a great summer and year.

22 I liked looking back on because my life, career wise was still all a clean slate in front of me.?

Took 2 years & 8 months to make our baby! Lilypie First Birthday tickers
