Hi -
I asked on the NC bump board if anyone had any recs for eating/shopping/things to do etc. for Topsail Island (going there this weekend) and someone told me to ask you...
any recs??

Are you going to be in Topsail or North Topsail? My dad used to have a place in North Topsail, but recently sold it.
I love it there, very laid back and relaxing. When I would go we would typically just hang out at the house and the beach and not much else. However in North Topsail/Sneads Ferry area as far as eating there is a good Italian place called Denoria's (sp?) it's in a little strip mall with only a few tables, but they deliver and have take out. For seafood there is a place called called Riverview that is really popular. Aslo the St Regis Resort has a restaurant called the Atlantis that has floor to celing windows overlooking the beach. (I'm not sure if it's open this early in the season)
For things to do there is the Sea Turtle Rescue Hospital and a couple of miniture golf courses.
Like I said it's a really laid back area...not a ton of options/activities other than the beach, but that's one of the reasons I liked it so much.
