Bah humbug!
Wish me luck! In the next 20 hours, I have interviews with about 20 of my students' parents. Some of them will be dead easy and some of them... ugh. I have to tell one set that their 13-year old son is going around saying that he's going to get drunk on the school trip to Ottawa & Montreal this year. I hate parent/teacher night sooo much. It just keeps showing me how many crappy parents there are out there and that really bums me out.

Ugh! I don't envy that at all! One of my really good friends is a 5th grade teacher and every week that I hang out with her I hear the horror stories of how awful these kids are...and their parents! It amazes me how awful the parents are these days and how they let their children address their teachers. I never ever remember kids around me or myself talking to the teacher the way kids do nowadays.
I give you so many props girl for everything you do as a teacher! Good luck tonight!
