BOB re: vegas
hi there...we just returned earlier this week from vegas. not sure if you've already booked a hotel, but I would not rec ours (the platinum) for a few different reasons, the main one being it's too far from the strip. we walked through planet hollywood (amongst others) and it seemed to be really nice/new - at least from the lobby/casino area. and it's not in a bad location either - monte carlo is across the street and they have a free tram that takes you to the bellagio.
if you do go, make sure to check out H&M - we walked around before the shops opened so I couldn't go in. sad. ;(

I hope you like the hotel! and definitely check out the shops, I was really bummed we were there too early - not to mention I don't like shopping with MH, it's not his thing and he always looked bored/annoyed.
