I watch the show every week and just finished watching tonight's episode. I won't comment specifically on people's performance cause I know we are all in different time zones, but I really do not understand the judges sometimes. They were totally criticizing some performances that I thought were really good and then giving kudos to those who were not that good. I always wonder whether they have a hidden agenda as to who they want to make it to the top 10. It drives me crazy...do the performances sound completely different to the judges then it does to us watching it at home?

I thought the same thing... But that note in the end surprised me, wow! I did like that cute blonde (didi?) who sang Lean on Me but the judges hated it!
Ellen - Not liking her.
Kara is turning into a Simon clone
Miss Paula
Malia & Dave & Alexa
Happily married since 2-17-08! Three since 9-9-09!

Ellen - eh, although she does make some funny comments sometimes
Kara - so utterly annoying and always seems to be in some odd competition with the women contestants even though she is more than twice their age
Randy - never really paid attention to that dawg's comments
Simon - sometimes I don't get his criticism but the show will not be the same once he leaves...and I probably won't watch after this season is over
I haven't watched it yet. It's not quite on yet, but this is the first season since day one that I feel kind of disconnected. Why do I feel this way? Is it because I know Simon will be gone after this season and deep down, I'm super upset about that. Or is it because there really aren't any that are blowing me away? Hmm........
Excited to see the women tonight though. Because last night was bunk!
Watching it right now on DVR... last night sucked but tonight's a little better, I guess... still no favorites. Though I think the last guy from last night has a lot of potential if he can just consistently hit all of his notes.
Abena, a few seasons ago Simon once apologized to a contestant on a results show. He said that when he watched the show on TV, the contestant actually sounded good so he apologized to her. I'm guessing some things sound different live???
Married Bio
Nobody has wowed me yet.
DH thinks Ellen just copies off of Randy's comments lol. She does have some funny comments though but most are not very helpful. Everybody is "great" for her. There is something about Kara that I don't like although her comments are constructive especially from a technical standpoint. Simon will always be Simon. The show will never be the same again with Simon.
Not impressed...at all. There are maybe 3 people I like and that's it. Kara BUGS me to no end. Ellen, not impressed either. I Tivo'd last nights episode so I will watch that tonight over dinner, but I was really not impressed with the guys on Tuesday night.
I'm kind of getting over AI which sucks because I usually love it. Hopefully it will get better.

I'm not wowed by anyone either, but I like some of them. I really like Didi, but I think her best performance was Hollywood week when she did Kara's song. I also like Andrew and Lee. There are so many guys who are so generic and forgettable...they all kind of remind me of that Chicken Little guy from a few years ago, or even David Archuleta (whom I couldn't stand).
It's funny how every year they say this is the most talented bunch yet. I think I remember them saying that this year, too, but umm...no. Not so much.
I think Ellen is okay as a judge...she's pretty funny sometimes. I don't miss Paula at all. I think all in all Idol is on it's way out, though.
