Any one want a cat??

She is cute, cuddly and only a little evil.  If we didn't have mice and if I didn't like her...boy I would give her away.  Today I go to give DD a bath,  the cat swipes the plug out of the tub and runs away with it.  I have zero clue where she has taken it.  It's gone.  So after getting a bit creative I make a plug and give DD her bath.  The cat is giving me an evil eye the whole time.

I then go for a shower.  I use the downstairs bathroom so I can keep an eye on DD while I get clean. I always leave the door open.  So I am standing there and all of the sudden I am freezing.  The cat has cranked up the cold water.  So I splash her and fix the water.  Then I am standing there and get cracked in the head with the shower head.  The cat is now in the shower with me and is hanging off the hose that goes to the shower head.  So I throw her out of the bathroom and close the door.   IT's a pocket door.  The cat opens it comes back in and flips on the hot water.  I gave up.  So much for a relaxing shower.

I guess today she has a thing against baths today.

  • We could make this a 2-4-1! lol I'll throw in my Jonesy.

Jonesy is everything you've described....and soooo much more! lol He has, through his antics, cost me thousands of dollars in property damage (I wish I was kidding). He is demanding, bossy, pushy and a bit of a bully. He is 20 lbs and snores like a bulldog. He has (somehow) figured out how to open certain doors in the house (the cat is insanely clever and strong). He is a fan of the shower also, it's weird and creeps me out. He has taken a particular dislike to half full glasses of water. Can't stand to see them just sitting there, so he must knock them onto the floor. Oh, and he's afraid of mice. He's a Maine C0on for pete's sake! They are supposed to be hunters! lmao

    In all his glory...

  • I take great pleasure in learning it's not just me and that I was correct in my suspicion that cats are just evil creatures.

We call the dog our good child.

Oh I hear you. We have 2 Maine Coons. Once is about 25 pounds and one is about 20. They are beasts. We thought we were getting nice little house cats and instead we got tigers!

lmao Exactly. I should have known this would be different when we were bringing him home and he escaped on the way to the car. When we got him home...he just waltzed in (this little furball the size of a softball) and basically scared off the other two cats! And the hilarity esued...
