Would you go on What Not to Wear if someone nominated you and you were chosen?

 

I watch this show all the time and try to pay attention to the advice they give, but when I shop (not that I have in a while...) I tend to throw it all out the window. I don't know if I could handle actually going on it though, I'm too shy and feel like I'd be humiliated. If only I could just get the $5000!

    If I had the money, yes I would absolutely have good style - but currently I do not have any style what-so-ever except for the 'its comfy" style - if someone nominated me for that show, I'd go on a make-over spree in an instant!

    I so need to be on this show....ask any of my friends.  I am frumpy, hate clothes that are tight and I consider khakis with my clogs dressed up!

    I would absolutely do it in a heatbeat!

    Family members have joked about nominating me and I would welcome it, honestly, to give myself permission to buy some nice clothes that fit me! 

    Admittedly, I jumped off of the fashion train long ago and dress for comfort - since I am at home or on-the-go with my two kids everyday!  Today I am sporting gray running pants with white stripes down the sides and a plain colored tee (aqua).

    Bring Stacey and Clinton ON!!!  I can take it!

    I definitely don't think I have good style. I buy what is on sale, if and when I give myself permission to buy new clothes. My clothes are so boring and "professional" I lost, well should say- never had, fun style from college!

     I would just like the money but wouldn't want to go on the show.

      I'm a shy person, but I think I would do it.  I think the end result is what would get me through the show!  I think some days I have style and others I don't.  I don't have the guts to wear some clothes that are in fashion, like skinny jeans.  I hate skinny jeans and I do not have the body type for it... but stuff like that I don't have the guts to wear in public.  It takes me awhile to warm up to the "in" clothes.  But, I love Stacy's style!!

    I love her style too!  But what she wears...I have to wonder is it really practical for what I do.  I mean if I showed up to the fire station in high heels and fancy clothes...I think someone would grab me and stick me behind the engine for the quick dump bath - in fact I have been threatened if I show up on too much noticeable makeup.  BFR is really not the fashion mecca!

    If I had the money, I definitely think I would dress well - even now I don't think I'm bad but I drool when I'm out and about now over the things I have no business buying right now ... and would I go on the show?  I doubt it, I think they're mean ... and I don't always think they know what good style is either, ha!  =)

    I would go on the show in a heartbeat! I think I've watched it enough to know what items I should be buying, but buying them is another story- especially right now. I need a post-baby Clinton and Stacy intervention! :)

    honestly if anyone here wants to sign me up, im game for it!! i will stand in front of the horrid 360 mirrors and "explain" my outfit... for them to teach me how to dress for me....  =)

    Not at all!  I totally want to go on that show - or "Tim Gunn's Guide To Style."  All those free clothes - and a great haircut to boot!

    My style is not so hot, and although I would love the money and makeover, I don't think I could bear to go through that on television.
