Cookie opinions, please
FBIL is home on leave from Iraq so my parents are having him over for dinner on Saturday. Both families will be there (parents, siblings, kiddos, etc)-so maybe 20 people in all. We're celebrating his birthday so my sister is making him a carrot cake. I'm going to bring cookies. I want to do bar cookies b/c they're easy. I'm going to do Baker's One Bowl Brownies, chocolate chip bars, and one more. Any ideas for the third option? I'm only coming up with chocolate ideas-yummy, but a little variety would be nice!

I was thinking lemon or lime bars myself. Is there some kind of berry bar? Like a blueberry or rasberry bar or something?

Peanut butter & jelly bars! Basically you make a peanut butter cookie dough and spread it in the bottom of a pan. Spread jelly on top. Then dot the top with a few more pieces of peanut butter dough. Bake the whole thing and cut into bars.
A coworker made these for a pot luck a couple of years ago, and I loved them! I can't make them too often, though, 'cause I could eat the whole thing myself.
