Sooo, any big weekend plans?
It's supposed to be beautiful outside--let's hear what you all are thinking of doing!
Re: Sooo, any big weekend plans?
YES.
I'm going to have my period and not be pregnant. Monkey balls
.
Other than that, I'm pretty excited about some of the weekend plans we have.
At some point we are going to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D. I *love* Tim Burton in a way that is probably unhealthy and so does DH. It is so rare that we want to go see the same movie... so I'm totally stoked.
We're going to the Home Show (my step dad works for Mercedes and got some free tickets because the company is doing something [I'm not sure what] for the show). I doubt we can afford anything there, but it's always fun to look.
We might go to Ikea and pick up this really cool shelf thingy they have there for $70... big sale item and it would look great in our living room
.
I'm so excited about this weekend, because it is the first weekend in a LONG time that I don't have to do any homework. Hooray for Spring Break.
Tonight: Pizza, Movie, and Beer!
Tomorrow: Random projects that I normally don't have time to do. Relaxing
Sunday: Going to see Spring Awakening at DPAC and got tickets on stage, so it would be quite fun! Relaxing some more!
Chillax and catch up with some sleep...
Last Sunday we drove to FL (which took us 12 hours), slept for 7 hours and spent all day on Monday in the sun and heat recording videos for our site. Slept in the back of the Bronco Monday night and got hmmm about 5 hours of sleep. Woke up and got DH ready for his first motorcycle race... after his race we recorded the race and photographed the race until around 3PM... then we drove back home and arrived at home Wed morning at 5:30AM. I received about 4 hours of sleep, then studied the rest of the day for an exam that night.
Pretty sure my body is begging me for sleep...
Tonight: DH actually has to go to the office, so I plan to finish cleaning the house, then drink wine & watch things on tv that he doesn't like and enjoy the alone time.
Tomorrow: I've got a doctor appt. at 8am, then coffee w/ my ladies, going for a walk w/ Suz, followed by running errands, cooking and cleaning out the closet. Ooh la la.
Sunday: Perhaps another walk w/ Suz, then projects around home.
Tonight - Dinner with friends
Tomorrow - Traveling to Statesville to see Grandmother-in-law, maybe over to Hickory to see friends
Sunday - I have to come to office, lunch at ILs and - after all the time with his family - a trip to IKEA for bookcases
In all of that, there's cleaning the house, taxes and trying to catch up on some more work.
DH has been working more off duty jobs to save up some diaper money (lol) so I'm on my own Fri and Sat night.
Tonight I'm doing a little shopping at Target and catching up on my recorded shows that DH doesn't watch, but no set plans for Sat or Sun yet.
Yeah! So far, so good ladies!! I wish I could relax this weekend, but I suspect it will be go-go-go!!
Tonight: do some laundry and clean a little bit
Tomorrow: 13.1 mile run--on the course of our 1/2. Lunch at Stamey's afterwards, then finish laundry, finish cleaning, bake some snacks/get some produce for my trip.
Sunday: Wake up earlier than the crack of dawn for Las Vegas (work related conference).
Catching up on sports news...
Tonight: One of DH's friends is coming to town, so cleaning up this afternoon and then making dinner/hanging out with DH + friend this evening. Until about 3 seconds ago I had been planning to make this tasty shrimp pasta, and then DH informed me that his friend is allergic to shrimp. I need to come up with a plan B!
Tomorrow: doing some errands, catching up on shows off the DVR, then having friends over in the evening to watch the Duke/Carolina game!
Sunday: not sure. This weekend starts my spring break (woohoo!!) so I won't have to do as much work and studying as I normally would on a Sunday!
Seriously, I am pumped about the warm weather this weekend!
Tonight - Date night w/ the DVR! I cannot believe I haven't seen Monday's episodes of Damages or 24! Plus maybe do my nails. They are looking horrid.
Tomorrow: Breakfast w/ SIL, niece; Then maybe hitting the "big" sale at Belk. Stand outside and bask in the sun
Sunday: My puppy has a play date w/ a neighbor's dog. Yay for fresh, warm air!! Again, stand outside and bask in the sun!
Tonight- baking cupcakes and brownies for my Grandmother (hopefully she can take the shock...I'm so not a baker)
Tomorrow- Friends father's funeral
Sunday- My adorable grandmother's 86th birthday party.

Tonight: Nothing exciting - just reading and maybe watching a little TV. It's been a relatively TV-free week for me, because DH is OOT and so I haven't been watching the stuff we both watch, but I might give in tonight. But, I also want to finish the book I'm reading.
Tomorrow: Hitting a couple of museums, and then grabbing dinner with my BFF.
Sunday: church, errands and DH comes home!
I'll be spending the weekend recovering from the surgery this morning and trying to figure out if/what offer we want to put in for a house.
Cross your fingers for me ladies
Tonight-nothing really planned.. Maybe go to Home Depot to buy some insulation to put in the attic
Saturday- Hair appt, oil change, then head to Fayetteville for my nephew's bday dinner
sunday-Relax, grocery shopping..
* wow, not too much exciting.. I guess i need to get some shopping in there..lol *
Tonight: Hosting a game night for one of my meetup groups
Tomorrow: DH and I have a dentist appointment at noon (GAG) and a potluck tomorrow night.
Sunday:Church
We are just chilling tonight.
We may go to the semifinals of the ACC women's tournament tomorrow, we are still undecided on that. I will definitely be watching the Duke-Carolina game tomorrow night.
At some point we need to review our taxes and submit them.
Hopefully we will get outside for a bit as well.
I may also get a haircut.
