Good news!
After about 8 months of looking for a job in Austin, I finally got an offer! Perfect timing, too...we close on our house at the end of the month, and our lease in Waco is just about up. I'm so excited to be with DH full time again (since he's been working in Autin for 2 months already) and that we will soon have our own place!!! 
Thanks to all of you who sent jobs dust and gave me tips on applying with state agencies. It worked!
