One bad thing about having a dog

cleaning up their poo after the snow starts to melt! yuck!! We tried to keep up on it every time it got a little warm but there are still pockets of poo around!

Re: One bad thing about having a dog

  • I feel so bad for city dogs. You see them all the time, right on the sidewalk, everyone looking at them, no grass to kick. And the owner has to pick it up before walking away or it's a $300 fine! I bet it's still warm. Ick!

    ... it is.

    Ick!

  • Can't you pick up after him each time?  I don't think picking up dog poo is that big of a deal.  DH and I do it daily.  Actually, I think changing diapers is worse.  Not that I've done it, but I've seen it done a lot and it's kind of disgusting.

Get yourself some poop bags, attach the little dispenser to his leash, and pick it up each time.  I'll become 2nd nature to you and you won't even think about it! :)

  • We do when in the spring/summer/fall....but when it's 0 degree and a negative windchill.....we are lazy and want to stay warm so we don't do it in the winter. When we have had a thaw we get out there and clean up so we have done that a few times. We are finally (hopefully) having our last thaw for spring so places we have missed when it snowed overnight are showing up.
