I hate eating.

I wish I had a personal chef. Then I wouldn't fall into a slump of eating the same thing, day after day.

Blah. :p

Re: I hate eating.

  • I know exactly what you mean. One of my goals this weekend is to pick a new recipe to try for next week and get everything I need at the store so that i will actually make it!
  • Lol! seriously! I was terrible and went out for pizza this week because I didn't want to cook... its tough to get motivated to cook when H isn't here during the week :(
Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
  • We bought a bunch of food for our new diet and than realized I didn't like most of it. And than last night I had a huge headache so I made the kids their pasta and I had cheerios for dinner-but I did sprinkled wheat germ on it Smile

I just printed up a bunch of recipes so hopefully we (meaning DH) can cook at least one of them this weekend.

  • Becki: For awhile I would cook one new meal a month. Yeah, I did that for a few months & then fell off the wagon. I hope you have more success!

Kat: That's what I mean! We will take the time to cook our kids a hot plate but when it comes to us, everything is too much effort. It's really sad.

  • We rely on frozen food and cereal far too much. Since I have 3 months left of my masters we can claim "college years", but honestly. I am hoping to try one new crock pot recipe a week. Not much, but I feel it is the only reasonable cooking goal with our current schedules.
  • I was doing really well for a while...cooking 2-3 new recipes a WEEK!  Then I sort of fell off the wagon when Sarah got sick, then I got sick.  I need to get back to it.

Sarah eats what we eat so in that sense, it can be fairly easy and motivating to cook something new, good and healthy.  Just have to get back in the habit again.
