......BOY!!!!

 I tried to post this under the Mommy-to-Be Check-In, but my computer is acting up and won't let me copy/paste properly, so I'll try it here.

Anyway, we went for out 20(ish)-week ultrasound yesterday....sort of.  It was actually a bit of a disaster.  To give you the back story, last month my regular OB was sick, so another doctor covered for her.  We discussed how at my next appt., we'd have our big ultrasound and hopefully be able to tell the gender.  I told him, great, we already scheduled the 20-week appt. (I scheduled a bunch in advance to get the dates we wanted so MH could be there, too).  What he neglected to tell me is that I wouldn't be getting the ultrasound there in the office, but at their special ultrasound facility (where I went for the nuchal screening), and that I would need to make a seperate appt. for that.

 Well....MH and I told everyone we were getting this ultrasound, we both took the day off work, and he wore his "Got Junk?" t-shirt he bought especially for the occasion (we both have weird senses of humor!).  So we get to the appt., have blood drawn, BP taken, weight, pee test, etc.  And no ultrasound.  THEN my OB informs me that the order was in the computer, but I never made the appt.  I was so sad!  I started crying, and we called over to the center, but they were solidly booked for the rest of the day.  The next appt. was for the 17th!!!

Luckily, MH was far more composed than I (less hormones, I suppose!).  He had the idea of calling one of those private ultrasound facilities that do 3D ultrasounds and see if the had any available time slots for a quick gender check.  And they had one spot left later that afternoon!  So, we still got to see that it was a boy!!!  Of course, I'll still have to go back to the regular facility to get the rest of the medical check ultrasound, but I was happy.  We were just so anxious to find out the gender....I was dying to know!  I give props to you ladies who want to wait....I have NO patience!

 So, here he is, in all his glory!  And MH in his goofy t-shirt (such a proud papa-to-be!).
