Hold the hand of Jen now and keep her safe; put Your own Spirit into her very breathing and into the new baby, for whom we wait with awe and hope. We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

most doctors/hospitals prefer that the baby be born within 24 hours of the water breaking. jen has pased that 24-hour mark, so they'll be taking baby sharpie to the NICU for precautionary measures.
I haven't heard differently so this is what we are assuming. If ya'll remember Dex had to go for the same reason. It's only precautionary but it is definitely a tough thing for new parents.

I didn't write that prayer. Just wanted to post a Catholic Prayer for Birth and Labor. Not my words. :-)
I had never knew about this whole 24hr/nicu thing till a couple weeks ago. My managers new little granddaughter had the same thing happen. Sadly, she got stuck in there for 10 days of antibiotics cause they thought she might have had pneumonia. booo. But I'm sure baby sharpie will be in and out and in its parents arms in no time!
