lived alone?
If you haven't, do you wish you had?
I haven't but I think ideally it would have been nice to before getting married. Although, I was pretty young when DH and I moved in together and he's always been great to live with so I can't complain

Re: Have you ever...
I never did but I was a zygote when I got married.
When I am alone while the princess is with her dad, it's a very different experience. I kind of wish I would have taken the time to live on my own before getting married.
No, I have never lived alone. I lived in my mom's house until I got marrried. Even during college, I stayed local and had no reason to dorm. I truly regret this. The only positive thing about living at my mom's until I got married is that it allowed me to save LOTS of money, but that is it.
Nope. Not really. I think it would be a little lonely and I prolly wouldn't have been able to afford it. I would have had to get a roommate.
Since we've been together we've lived with my parents and all of H's immediate family except his father. I was kinda bummed when we no longer lived with LBIL and LSIL. I miss those kids. H's older brother and his wife will be moving into our house in June for financial reasons.
I lived with my mom and sister until I was 23. I went to college locally and it made no sense to live in the dorms since I lived only 15-25 mins away.
I have to admit there were times when I wished I lived on my own, but I think overall I would've been lonely. Plus it allowed me to save up money and figure out what I could truly afford financially on my own.
DH & I moved in together after dating for over 3 1/2 years and I feel it was the best thing for us. We really got to know each other in even greater detail as a couple living together. We felt comfortable enough to take the next step from BF & GF and get engaged and so on.
There are times I wonder what that independence of living on my own would've been like. Most likely if DH & I didn't move in with each other we would've moved into our own apts or with friends as roommates.
my parents live about 25 min away from CU and I still moved out after my freshman year...the traffic/parking drove me crazy.
