Stomach bug

Dh has been sick all day...with out being tmi...but is constantly in the bathroom. I got home from work and he is running a slight temp 101 and is chilled. I'm pumping him full of fluids and He has taken some pepto and just took ibuprofen for the fever. Any other ideas? Thanks!

Re: Stomach bug

  • He might have the flu... I don't have any other advice besides keep doing what you are doing and/or go to a clinic or something.

  • Yep, just let it pass. Hopefully he'll be over it in a day or so...I know several people who have been hit by a pretty intense but short-lived stomach bug lately. DH thinks we just happen to know 4 people who all ate something bad in the past two weeks...lol.
  • Haha..dh said it was his dinner...but with his fever and he just looks like he doesn't feel good. Trying to keep my distance so I dint get it....fingers crossed, that works right?!? ;)

  • There is a nasy stomach virus going around. My mom, DH and I have all had it. Be will be in the bathroom for about 24 hours and weak for a few days after that. It is nasty....sorry! Hope he feels better soon!
  • so from the sounds of it.... unless I quarantine myself Im doomed as well   Crying

  • DH  got it a couple of weekends ago, but some how I escaped, he couldn't keep food down for a good 24 hours.
  • You'll be ok as long as you keep washing your hands and don't let any "juices" get on you, haha. I'd probably use another bathroom if possible and then scrub down the one he's been using after he's over it just to be sure. At my in-laws' house, DH's stepdad and grandma got it but not his mom or him or his sister, so you can probably avoid it, too. :)
