  I think it'll be a long day, but maybe that will be the only issue.  My boss is gone from work for 2 weeks and I'm hopeful that the chaos we've experienced lately will be missing from work, too.  Now if only I could find a fairy to organize and purge things from my house I think life would just about be perfect.

  Oh, YAY for weather in the 50s here today.  Maybe I can convince DH we should grill out for dinner then it will be marvelous Monday.  Have a great day ladies!

  Everything was great until about 10 minutes ago: no bumper to bumper on 65, no traffic aroudn the univ, easy parking, on time to work (I was late 4 out of 5 last week), and then...duh duh duh (that's my shocking music)...I managed to dump about 32 oz of water on my desk, the floor, and me.  At least it's only water.  Tonight will definitely be a dinner out night since I have b-day coupons galore; plus, I need to be out so I can go shopping.

  good morning, ladies!

  My only gripe today is that it is absolutely beautiful out and I am stuck in the office all day! I'm hoping I'll be able to get out for a while for lunch and that today flies by.

  Today is looking like a good day here.  The boss is on vacation for the next week and a half, so we're left to our own devices until he gets back, yay!  It looks like it's going to be a very relaxing week.

  So far so good... Stayed up too late last night watching the Oscars, so I'm a little sleepy.  But the good news is that I'm "over the hump" with my masters classes this term, and we're pretty  much just bringing together loose ends.  Good - I need a breather!

  Today so far is not too hott over here...DH started complaining about a sore throat yesterday and then started running fever last night. This morning everything just got worse so I am pretty sure its strep. Now I have a really bad sore throat this morning (UGH!) on top of horrendous (is that a word) period cramps - even though my period was supposed to be gone by today. Feeling so sh!tty over here is not an option this week since we are leaving on vacation Friday morning and I have a million things to do to get ready.

  Well, we're back from our vacation, which is crappy thing #1. #2 I'm breeding mice for my lab work, and my nursing mothers keep dying for some reason! It's starting to get really annoying. #3 I don't know what happened, but I crashed into a curb on the way to work and popped my tire, and DH had to come rescue me Grrrr.
