Sorry I didn't respond to the other post. I have been totally outta the loop...Work has been non-stop and trying to get everything done for Sadie has been CRAZY!
The glider we got is the storkcraft hoop glider and ottoman. I actually never sat in it at the store either. I got it at Babies R Us online. It was only available online (and still is only available online...it comes in a lot of different color combinations), so I read consumer reports and stuff about it and customer reviews. They all said it was comfy... but may need some help putting it together. Gil had to drill the sides a little so the screws would fit through and catch on the other side of a piece of the wood. We got it (with free shipping luckily) and when we put it together it was AWESOME!! If you are tall the back may be a little too low for you...I'm 5'3" and the top is just the perfect height for me.
