opening recap
So Andrea and Amanda showed up which was fabulous! They met the dog and said "she looks bigger in pictures" yep, she's pretty short. haha. I think the dog actually pulled people in! My parents came, my brother and SIL and nephew came (though he was being cranky and they left early). I had about 40-50 people come through so that was good! It was crappy weather and a lot of girls I know had to work so all in all good! So now onto the DRAMA.
David's parents were his only family to show up. And they showed up at 4:45. It ended at 5. The day before, David had asked them if we could borrow the cooler and they were like for what? They said they didn't know and I KNOW I told them at least TWICE about it since they watched the dog while we working there. WTF. They instead went to another bogus party (that wasn't like a bday or retirement) instead of coming to my opening in the beginning. I was and still am pissed. None of his other family showed up. NONE.
So there's the highlights and the shittiness!

Families can really, really stink. I love my ILs, but DH's dad lives in the same town as us and just saw Liam for the first time since Christmas!!! This was only because DH called and basically said "we're coming over" too. Ugh.
This exactly...I'm sorry girl. Your MIL always systemically plots ways to piss you off. Don't let her get the best of you, you are 101 million ways better than her! XOXO, wish I was there for the opening so I could have given her my sideways eye and stink eye!
