How was everyone's weekend?
Re: Morning! (Monday)
with the family. Than my IL's came and it was a short visit. We were
going to go out but decided it was too cold so we just ordered pizza,
watched movies and played. It was so great! Than it was Karoke Time!
So much fun.
Sun morn I woke up to Joaquin, Isabel, Dh and I all in our bed, it was
raining outside and we didn't have anywhere to be, it was a great
start to our morning. Than Isabel and I headed out for a girls
shopping afternoon while the boys stayed to watch the game. We weren't
able to get everything we were looking for but still got quite a bit.
We picked up some SanSai for a late lunch. Rest of the evening
was more great family time! And Dh sent me to bed at 8:40 so I could
get some extra sleep
We had a great weekend but it was much too short!
Friday A got some yardwork done and we went out for dinner
afterward.
Saturday we made a trip to Home Depot to get some gardening/yard
stuff. I think we finally have a game plan for the yard and I know
what plants I want to get. That night we got to go out all by
ourselves. We had dinner and saw Alice in Wonderland which I LOVED. We saw it in 3D and I must say I don't think it really added much to the
movie, just more of a gimmick.
Yesterday we went to church and then I did some shopping with my mom
I totally forgot to mention: my friend and I were walking around downtown Riverside and noticed this new cupcake shop. It's Casey's Cupcakes and Cappucinos. We stopped in and I got the Sassy Strawberry and my friend got the Perfect Pumkin. They were so good!
Ooh Becki- I've been trying to figure out a landscape plan for my yard but I have no vision, loll! I started working on my front yard landscape and only got to the point of tearing out hideous plants- no replacements yet, lol!
my weekend was nuts (see my post below this one, lol!) but I did get to have a little bit of fun at Karaoke on Saturday night, then hung out a little at the Grand Opening of the Menifee Michaels with Kat on Sunday afternoon
Seriously though- for a Grand Opening, there really weren't any good sales... it was like normal Michaels sales... kinda disappointing! And they were actually charging for the demo crafts- which is ridiculous because the line to buy the stuff was like an hour long, lol! Definitely an interesting day
Morning!
Friday was a crappy day at work so after I signed off, I decided to have some wine and then had too much which wouldnt have been an issue except for the fact that H got a flat on his way home and was having trouble with his jack so he wanted me to bring him some tools. Yeah no way that happened! Fortunately he found a mechanic near by and they were able to help him out. After he got everything fixed, he picked up Phillys Best for dinner and we laid low.
Sat picked up my sisters from ONT and headed to my parents house
Sun went shopping with my sisters, hit up In N Out for lunch and then went home in time for yoga which I really needed before going back to work today.
This is going to be a busy week for me and I'm just hoping work is better today than it was on friday.
Weekend flew by way to quick!
Friday- Had chriopacter appt, got every red light on the way home, ugh!
Saturday- took the metrolink out to LA and did a crime tour on main street, it was good, wish it was a walking tour instead a bus tour but I enjoyed it still. Then took the train back home and went to the Reign game, they won in a shoot out!
Sunday- Went maternity clothes shopping, was heavenly! I hate clothes shopping but everything seemed to fit, and I had a gift card. I really enjoyed it! Then visited with my friend for a while and went to a Oscar party. Food was good, not much into the Oscars at all...
I noticed the different tours they had in that LA crime tour company... have you been to any of the other ones? They look really interesting!
YAY for maternity clothes shopping!
It was the 1st tour I had been on from them, I want to do the Black Dalhia crime tour as well, they always seem to be on a Saturday when I have something going on!!! It was fun, interesting to get to know the history of LA and how we lost and saved, but mostly lost so many of our historic buildings.

Happy Monday!
Had a SUPER busy weekend! My sister and friends came in Thursday night. Friday we spent the day hanging out and then went to At My Place for dueling pianos for C's birthday dinner (so much fun!).
Saturday morning I was running around picking up last minute items for Sarah's birthday party that afternoon. It started raining about 30 minutes after we got the bounce house set up in the front yard but most of the kids got to enjoy it. Finally moved it to the garage (1/2 in and 1/2 out) and the kids seemed to still have fun on it! Once the party ended we just hung out with our friends and played some Wii Resort (C's birthday gift from them).
Sunday, we had a nice big breakfast and then everyone took off (except my mom). We ran to BRU to look at toddler beds - yes...Sarah decided on the eve of her 2nd birthday to CLIMB out of her crib! Last night we watched the oscars and bbq'd hamburgers. It was a nice quiet evening!
Today my baby started in the pre-school (2's) room at daycare. I can't believe she's TWO YEARS OLD!!
Hope everyone is having a great day!
