"Up" themed birthday party
Any ideas for an Up themed birthday party? I have only a couple of weeks to plan. Of course we're planning on having lots of balloons everywhere, but what else can make it "Up" themed?
This is for a 3yr boys birthday party.

You could ask your little guests to dress in khaki shorts and a yellow shirt or give them a yellow shirt as a favor with wilderness explorer patches on them.
Or give them yellow bandannas or a badge sash and have them run a simple obstacle coarse to win more badges.
If they are all really little kids you could do stuff like pet an animal (if you have a dog or cat) for a Animal Friend Badge, clean plate badge if they eat all of their food. Dessert lover badge after they eat cake and ice cream.
Have a balloon artist make balloon animals for the kids.
Make an adventure book for your son of all of the stuff he has done over the past 3 years and have it on display.
Have a jar with chocolate coins in it for guest to nibble on like Ellie and Carl had to save up money to go to Paradise Falls.
Make a small cardboard house with refrigerator boxes to look like Carls house and tie a bunch of balloons to the top. The kids can play in it at the party.
