thankyou Jesus for Rosh Hashanah

cause that means my boss isn't in today. I was really not looking forward to dealing with craziness on my frist day back at work with my horrid cold.

ps - anyone know how to deal with congestion in the ears? I took a decongestant - will those help?

Re: thankyou Jesus for Rosh Hashanah

  • Whenever I'm super congested, I've started using a saline spray (obviously in my nose, not my ears hahaha) and it really helps.  Also get some regular Sudafed - the kind you have to provide more documentation for the pharmacist than you do to get a subprime loan.  The stuff you find in the aisle SUCKS.  And lastly, think about some Claritin OTC or something like that for seasonal allergies.

And yahoo for your boss being gone!!

  • I literally LOL'ed at the irony of your thread title. Smile

PS Rosh Hashana made my commute this monring sooo nice.

  • I know - pseudephederine is my BFF. I took my last dose of crappy decongestants so I guess I will see how they do.

Warning: don't blow out your ears wehn they are congested or you will get hella dizzy and break into a cold sweat. Its not as awesome as it sounds!

I didn't even think of that--this must be why it only took me 45 minutes to go 20 miles to work today!

  • I'm thankful because I got to sleep in and relax today.
