Weekend
How was everyone's weekend?
It was Kevin's birthday - the big 2-5! So we went out to a nice restaurant with his parents, older brother and his wife, which was very nice. Then his brother and SIL followed us back and stayed at our place and we hung out. Saturday was busy with party prep work, then I went to see one of the high school plays - Urinetown - that a couple kids I work with were in. It was very dark, as far as a musical goes, but they did a really nice job. My SIL and I got back and got everything all set for the party, then people started coming over. It was a great success and we don't have people over very often so I really enjoyed myself.
I made some really good stuff too - peanut butter filled chocolate cupcakes and chocolate covered cheesecake bites, which turned out remarkably well.
Yesterday we just hung out - we were a bit hung over, apparently we are too old for this stuff now haha. Then I made delicious lasagna for dinner and got called into work.

Our weekend was the best! We went to Michigan for 1 last weekend of snowboarding (for DH). It was nice to get away and relax a bit.
