Camping

DH and I will start camping again soon this year, but we are looking for new places to try.

If you camp, where do you go and what do you think about the place?

Has anyone been to Pine Cove Campground? I found it online last night and it looks nice, but don't really know much about it.

TIA!

Re: Camping

  • Patoka Lake in Indiana.

Hocking Hills, Yellow Springs, Tar Hollow in Ohio.

  • We have camped in the Red River Gorge in KY - that is beautiful, but pretty much roughing it.  The hiking is more difficult but the waterfalls, windows, cliffs, and natural bridges are amazing!

We have also camped at Hocking Hills, OH, which was a lot of fun - they have electric hook ups and showers and nice hiking.

  • I would second Red River Gorge. We were just down there this weekend (not camping - way too cold for that). But it was absolutely beautiful.
