Elusive Girl Scout Cookies
I can not find GSC anywhere. I have resorted to calling the local head quarters. I was told a reliable trooop leader would call me back. Fingers crossed, I want to give them as hostess gifts. Why can you always find them when you don't want/need them and not the reverse.

we ordered some girl scout cookies in early January and are yet to see them. I need to find out what's going on with that!
Those would make an excellent hostess gift. One of our best guy friends is so thoughtful (for a guy, especially). Since they only sell them in the spring, he saved a few boxes and brought them to the hospital for me when I had Elise (in August!). I thought that was really sweet. He brought all my favorite flavors (Samoas, Tagalongs and Thin Mints).
Those were my favorite too! They're ridiculously delicious. This post made me google "gluten free girl scout cookies," and there are lots of recipes to recreate those cookies, someday I will probably give it a try too.

I did and they stood me up all weekend.
I preordered some, already got them, but somehow the cookies were all gone the next day...
Isn't it amazing how that happens? They are like magic in their ability to disappear.
