a vent about my stinkin' day
So. This morning I wake up and get a call from one of my clients. She wants me to come out and help her get ready for her show. I agree to come, even though I know she lives about 45 minutes from my house. I live in north georgia, close enough to the mountains that I can get there in an hour or two, but close enough to Atlanta that i can also get there in about 2 hours. So...I head out (north) and I'm following my GPS to get there. 30 minutes into my drive, i have no idea where i am and the GPS is sending me in CIRCLES. So, I call my H and ask him to google map the address. He does, and it says the same thing that the GPS said. I call the client and she's an older lady and couldn't describe to me where im supposed to go. So at this point, I'm crying because I'm late, I'm lost and no one can tell me where to go. I finally decide to call my dad. So, he gets a Georgia map out and FINALLY figures out where i'm supposed to go.....which happens to be 5 dirt roads into the north georgia mountains....NONE of which are marked. I get out of the car excited to finally be where i'm supposed to be and the most adorable little yorkie runs up to greet me. i touch her head and say hello in the super annoying but cute voice i use to talk to furbabies, and SHE PEES ON MY FOOT. All in my shoe, on my pants, and in between my toes. GROSS. So I squish my way to the door and try to figure out if i should say something to this poor old lady who can barely move about her house. i decided not to. We had our meeting/preparation time and I was ready to leave. While standing at the door saying goodbye another dog (mut) runs over to me and humps my other foot. SERIOUSLY?.......f.m.l Some days are better spent in bed. AGH. ps. my shoes are ruined.and.... did i mention that i need to find my glasses? i posted this on the wrong september board, and got completely flamed for saying fml. so, the day continues.

Only the BEST THING, EVER!!!!
Basically, it's a pedicure, but when your feet are done soaking and being scrubbed, they take warm riverstones and put them on specific pressure points on your feet. Then they secure them there by wrapping your feet in warm towels.
I'm relaxed just thinking about it.....
