busty girls.... plz help!

Hi ladies!  I have been MIA on here since officially signing off before my wedding, since life has been insanely busy.... but I need some help and since everyone was so wonderful at giving advice, I thought I'd come here!

I am realizing more and more that my bras are not cutting it.... they are from Victoria Secret.  I am somewhere within a 34-36 D to DD-- does anyone have any advice on where to shop for some more supportive bras (that aren't ridiculously expensive)???

Thanks in advance.  :-)

  • Have you tried Fredrick's of Hollywood?  They have great bras for well endowed ladies.

  • I don't know about the size, but most of my bras are from Hanes!  I order them online and they're super affordable and so comfy!

  • I got sick and tired of the under wire poking out and stabbing me....done with VS.  So I ventured over to Macy's and LOVE their Calvin Klein bras.  I am now going to try FH...since Nicole suggested it.
  • I get my bras from Lane Bryant - they're supportive and actually pretty cute!

  • I get mine from a variety of places, I'm just always looking for a good price:

Kohl's has a few good brands, and great sales!  (My current faves from there were $3 to $6 on clearance!)

I've had hit or miss luck with jlk & associates - but you have to know your size, since it's a website - orchardcorset.com, they are great about returns, but...

If you have enough patience to try a bunch on, there are some good ones to be found at Target and Walmart.  I have found that their cups tend to be too small for me, but have had luck with a few styles of the Gilligan & O'Malley brand at Target.  In my experience, when you find ones you like, buy a bunch, since they tend to change their inventory and discontinue items too often.

  • When I was pregnant my boobs went up to a DD and I couldnt find a bra until I went to Macys. They have sooo many different kinds. I dont remember which ones I got but I still have them so that when we go for #2 I know which bras to buy.

  • Thanks so much, everyone.... I will probably give all of those options a shot!!  I hate hate hate bra shopping, but like you said, if I find some that fit I'll probably buy multiple.  However, that was my problem with VS-- I thought they were great in the store, but after about two weeks they started failing to hold the ladies up.  Anyway, thanks for your suggestions!! :-)
