HA! He's fine. Crazy beagle.
Sunday night DH and I were in the living room watching TV and noticed the beagle was nowhere to be seen. This situation NEVER ends well - that means he's into something, and probably in big trouble. So we split up and fan the house for him. He's in the guest bedroom humping a blanket and some of his toys. Whatever. DH takes it away from him and sends him into the living room. He's laying there and when I walk by he rolls over for me to scratch his belly. There was blood on the carpet (a drop or two) and a drop of blood on his penis. I flllllllip out. I call the emergency clinic and they encouraged me to bring him in. However, DH talked me down and we waited to see about how he would pee. Took him outsdie, collected the pee and there was no blood.
So, I ended up taking him early on Monday to his Vet (where we have pet insurance) and they ran a million and one tests.... all to discover that nothing was wrong. Nothing.
Diagnosis: Overly vigorous humping.
DH was so proud....

lol, i am so glad the dog is okay but that has me laughing so hard.
yeah... a heart attack and a chunk of change (from all the tests) later... I think it's funny too.
