F/U to my floor nightmare

So I met this morning with the 2 owners of the floor company. They were super nice and very co-operative...and totally stumped as to what the heck is going on with the floor! lol (If I didn't laugh, I'd cry). They took all sorts of measurements and samples, as well as tested the humidity levels of the house (room by room) and the floor trusses. The joke's on them, though. I am a miss fix-it and I have been testing the humidity levels since we moved in...so no suprises there. I was a bit smug when I said to them about the lack of exessive moisture, "I told you so". lol

So, now they are going to the manufacturer(s). They hope to get back to me early next week. There is no doubt, though, that all of it will be ripped out. In the end, I won't have to pay for it, but the issue is 'who will'?

As for our general contractor. His business partner has taken over responsibility for our project and he's been super good to deal with. Even the sub contractors are happy to have him on the case! It'll work out, but it will not be fun.
