"Jason and Molly's Wedding"
I did not watch it for the sole reason that the previews were driving me bonkers with the incorrect grammar of "Jason and Molly's Wedding." It's Jason's and Molly's wedding. It is his too, so he gets a possessive ending. And the phrase "him and I" makes me want to throw up. Vienna always said "Him and I's relationship." For Pete's sake, don't they have an editor to look out for these things?
So, how was the wedding?
Business Cat.

Re: "Jason and Molly's Wedding"
Who are Jason and Molly?
I DVR'd it so I can watch it some time this week.
Amethyst- I can't tell if it is sarcasm or not but if it is not...Jason Mesnick was one of the bachelors. He chose one chick and on the 'after the final rose' update type show- dumped her for the runner- up (Molly). Their wedding was on TV last night.
I didn't know who they were, either.
I halfed watched it (meaning I was on the compy, too) - must be nice to have everything paid for by someone else. the vera wang gown, the posh location, rad decorations, etc. I found it rather odd that so many former "contestants" were there - I get the bachelor couples, but there were a few of the crazy girls from jason's season there too. I don't remember names, but the one blonde girl he took to vegas who is obsessed with money was there. kiptyn from jillian's season was in attendance.
I didn't watch trista's wedding but I was glad to see there wasn't any pink last night.
LOL- Natalie? The "I like bears" girl? I thought that was super random, too.
Overall I thought it was borrrring. And I bet Ken Paves was crying that his hair masterpiece was destroyed.
(read it. you know you want to.)

I watched it for a minute or two in the little box at the top of the guide while DH was looking for another show to watch.
So, so glad I caught this little gem:
Molly: "Jason, because of you, I've done things I would have never done, I've seen things I would have never seen, I've tasted things I would have never tasted..."
AHHH.. the twelve year old boy in me laughs and laughs and laughs!
Not to defend the producers, because they suck...
But, couldn't it be that it was "Jason and Molly" as a couple.. a unit? The wedding of "Jason and Molly", together? No? You can use the apostrophe with the last name only to indicate joint ownership. I wikipedia'd this and found a page that is so over my head that I can't see straight now, but I think its correct as Jason and Molly's wedding.
Here is a link that says the same thing Wiki did, but in terms I can understand.

I guess I'm in the minority but I liked it. I still think Jason is a D-bag for what he did to Melissa but they apparently weren't right for each other anyways because she is already married now too, so I don't feel so bad.
I also thought it was weird some of the crazy contestants were there but at the same time it seems like some of those people stay friends after the show, even though they weren't picked. I guess because they have all been through the same thing together.
It was really extravagant and a gorgeous wedding. I also thought it was really cool she was not only wearing a Monique Lhuillier dress but Monique herself was there helping her try on wedding gowns!
I also respected Jason and his ex wife's decision to keep Ty off the camera from now on. I was a little dissappointed because I bet he looked precious all dressed up but it was a respectable decision, IMO.
If you look past all the silly things and just look at the wedding itself, it was beautiful, IMO.

yes, natalie!
and I thought molly's makeup looked a little tranny-ish.
um, and I meant a monique dress, not vera. shows how much I was paying attention!
Hmm, I have never heard of this and it sounds funny to my ear. I was taught that you have to make both subjects possessive because both need to agree with the object. I defer to Rssn on this, though, if she reads it - she is the editing queen.
LOL--no, it wasn't sarcasm, I honestly didn't know who they were! I was wondering what all the FB posts were about last night! I did hear about him "switching" girls on the update show, though--not cool at all.
So I guess this is the first Bachelor to actually get married, then?
:-)
Bachelor- yes, Trista was the 1st Bachelorette.
Ok, I finally watched the show last night. For some reason I don't feel I'm in the position to call names or be angry at Mesnick for what happened. I feel like he honestly thought he was making the right choice by choosing Melissa and then realized it was wrong. It's unfortunate that he was likely tied to all sorts of contracts with ABC as far as how he would break up with one and pursue the other...ya know? He and Molly do seem happy and my gag reflex does not kick in when watching them interact as opposed to Jake and Vienna.
The wedding was exactly what ABC wanted it to be...a hugely publicized wedding. Just watching the people- I love that even when it began raining- Molly continued her vows and laughed at the rain...many brides (many of us as well) would have flipped and had a huge bridezilla moment I'm sure.
I was turned off by the red carpet likeness of it all with Chris Harrison and the other bachelors/bachelorettes...that seemed to take away from the wedding.
