Taylor Update: Day 4
She is so cute! She's only had two accidents in the house and they were both my fault, so all is going well on that front. We're learning more about her habits and little quirks every day. She sleeps anywhere and everywhere, in the weirdest positions (often on her back with her legs up in the air!)

HATES her pen. Last night DH was at Trivia Night with his friends, and I came home from dinner with my friend to find Taylor walking around the living room, just hanging out. I called him and said, "You can't leave Taylor just out in the open when you leave, you have to pen her" and he goes, "I DID pen her!" LOL! So she had somehow managed to unzip her cage. We thought we'd be okay with one of those collapseable ones for easy portability, but we're going to have to get a big, metal one. Her new nickname is Houdini! I was half annoyed, half proud of her for busting out. 
So I'm starting to warm her up to being in an enclosed space by giving her treats when she goes in it and sticking my head in
there as well. I'm home for most of the day so I feel like it's
important for her to have some seperation between us so she doesn't get TOO too needy. I also ordered a book called Smart Puppy that's supposed to be really good, so I'm excited for that to get here.
She loves chewing on fingers, feet, loose clothing, our glasses cases, etc. She is just so cute though, I'm completely smitten and love taking care of her.

I know how she escapes! My little girl bite-pinches the zipper until it pops open. She does this all the time in her travel crate! Smart pups!

She sounds so darn cute! I loved the puppy stage.
The best "surprise" I came home to one day was I bought an EXPENSIVE doggie bed for his crate so he would be all comfy. Only the best for my baby
It had an eggcrate foam insert. He chewed a hole in the covering and shredded the egg crate in a bazzillion pieces. It looked like a snowman exploded in the bedroom. Dummy me decided to buy another one for him because of course the first time was a fluke. Nope he shredded that one too. Now he gets blankets and towels.
LOL, Bella did that too! We put a bed in her crate for her when she was a puppy. We came home, and she was laying in the middle of the crate with a huge happy face on, tail wagging, completely ensconced in a sea of chewed up foam pieces! She shredded that bed to pieces! I thought it was hilarious!

Thats funny she busted outof her crate. Ladmo has a play pen thats about 4 feet around, so he has his crate, a bed and toys in there. its been working out for us, but it is huge and takes up a corner of the living room.
