Morning ladies, what are in the plans today? Anything exciting/interesting happen yesterday?
Re: Happy Hump Day to You :D
Oh Isabell is gonna love preschool!
She'll be the princess of the playground, lol
I got my hot stone massage last night... absolutely heavenly. Then I met some friends at Baskin Robbins and had some ice cream- it was a must- the family drama was killing me yesterday... when I was sitting with my friends, I reviewed the # of phone calls I received yesterday afternoon- 37 from 1:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Loads of fun, lol!
Today- just work, then work. My day job has authorized as much OT as I can handle, so I'll be working Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays over the next couple of months- because any time they offer OT you have to make the most of it!
Happy wednesday!
Yesterday was a good day. L and I ran to Home Depot (my new favorite store) and the 99 cent store and got some plants and garden supplies. This weekend we will work on the yard
Kat: She's going to do great! Preschool is such a huge benefit for both child & parent.
C has been teething pretty bad. He had all 4 fang teeth come out at once. One is being pretty stubborn & will not break through his gums. So he's been pretty miz.
He was in bed before 7:30 & I watched tv until P came home. I told him the story of Layla Grace & just broken down crying. I knew I was sad for the family but I didn't expect that reaction.
Tonight heading to the gym w/my friend again.
Morning everyone!
Yesterday my family came over for dinner and my mom was nice enough to make dinner and bring it over for us. We hung out with them the rest of the night and then called it an early night since I had to get up early today to drive to LA for work.
Fortunately for me my afternoon meeting got cancelled so I can leave by 2 and not get stuck in traffic on the way home woohoo! Tonight probably not much of anything other than vegging on the couch.
Last night dh and I went to Mi Tortilla for dinner. I was craving chips and salsa. I wasn't really hungry for real food though so I didn't eat much. We came home and watched AI.
Tonight, I am on my own. Dh is going to Phoenix to see some spring training games. I think he will be back Friday night.
We're suppose to do that w/some friends. Other than the recent rain the weather has been gorgeous out here.
Good Morning,
Last night I went to my grandma's house for dinner. She made enchiladas, beans and rice. It was so yummy! I haven't had good food like that in a long time. I stayed there till about 8 and then came home and watched 16 and Pregnant and a little of American Idol.
Tonight, I don't have any plans. I feel like there is something I was supposed to do but I can't remember for the life of me.
Yay! The week is 1/2 over!
Last night Sarah and I took Grandma to dinner for her birthday. We went to Eagle Glen grill and had a nice time. Sarah was a bit hyper but there weren't too many people there so she was ok running around a little bit. Otherwise, didn't do much last night but hang out and catch up on some more Tivo.
My mom leaves today
. She's been such a huge help (she's doing our laundry now and ironing C's work shirts!)...I'm going to miss her so much! I'm not sure when she's heading down again for another visit. Probably not until May.
Tonight it's just Sarah and me. C is working late (again) so we'll have a fun girls' night! Should be interesting getting her to sleep in her crib. She slept with grandma (in a queen bed) the last 2 nights and LOVED IT! C and I are considering not putting her in a toddler bed and just going straight to the full. Especially since she climbed out of her crib the other night. We have to check out the prices...
Hope everyone has a great day!
I would love to go one of these years. In the past and this year though, I have been saving my vacation time. Tomorrow they are seeing the Cubs and on Friday the Angels.
