Poll: How long away from DH?
What's the longest time you've spent away from DH since you've been married?
Brock is out of town for work for a week and its the longest time we've spent away from each other since we've been married. It sucks....
Re: Poll: How long away from DH?
Last year, DH went to CA to visit his family for a week. And I went to NC to visit some family for a week this year. So, a week for each of us. It was kind of hard, but also kind of nice to just be by myself for a little. :-)
4 days when I drove back to IL by myself. Even though I went to see family and friends I hadn't seen for over a year, it wasn't enough of a distraction. I missed him terribly.
I don't know what I'd do for a week.
I think 3 nights? I was OOT for work. I went to Cihcago this past weekend without him, but that was just one night.
Then again, we work opposite schedules, so we're both really independent in that way. I miss him, but I'm (eta: NOT) used to having dinner with him, seeing him all the time, etc. There can be up to three days where the only time we spend together is from 12 am-6 am. I'll be asleep before he gets home and he'll be asleep when I wake up. So, aside from sleeping next to each other, there's not a whole lot of difference.

i haaated this! TJ and I were like that for a few years. If we ever had to go back to that, I don't know how I'd do it.
haha...I was like who's Karebear? lol oh well.
Right now, it's been 3 weeks. Eric was shifted to work in the TX office during this past December, I would have flown out to see him, but tickets were too costly for the company to pay. I would have totally met Christina & little Loela, damn $$$$ plane tickets.
Currently, Eric is out of town and in Sacramento - and it's been the 3rd week. He did come home this past weekend, but he's hoping to come home a day early by Thursday.
It's been hard sleeping without him, not seeing him, waking up and he's not there...I've been miserable mainly at night and in the morning. He really does keep the bed warm, gives the best goodnight kisses. I try and stay busy after work, clean, bake, and go to the gym. Yesterday, I went shopping, baked muffins for the office, organized my recipe folders, and watched my girl shows. It's a break for me in the kitchen, but then I use the time to experiment and make new recipes. My work gets to be the taste-testers for me. lol
well I might be the winner.... DH and I worked in different areas -- me in Chattanooga and DH in Greenville,SC for over a year! We saw each other about every other weekend but never for more than 3 days at a time.... talk about being crappy! BUT we are together now and that's all that matters!
Board crasher! Kidding. Cute sandals.

Since we've been married, a few days. There is good and bad to it. I love sleeping in the middle of the bed, but I also miss sharing the bed with him. I hope Brock will be back soon!
ETA: We've gone longer. When we were dating, he did study abroad in Japan for a year. I saw him twice in that span. When we were living together we did some holidays/weekends apart more often, but I think we split Christmas up.
I think 5 days is the longest we have been apart. The first 2 days are nice...by day 4 it's awful.
1 week it was the longest week ever!
I think 17 days when he was in Germany last year for work. I try to make the best of it, and that was helpful because I went over at the end. It is nice to have his plane ticket paid for.
He travels a lot, I don't love it, but it is what it is so I try to make the best of it. Luckily, no work trips for 2 months unless we both go to Hawaii in a few weeks (him working, me drinking on the beach). His travel does have its perks!
