I didn't realize until tonight Biden had his own "sniper fire" exaggeration. I remember Hillary being raked over the hot ones for her white lie. What about Biden?

"Let's start telling the truth," Biden said during a presidential primary debate sponsored by YouTube last year. "Number one, you take all the troops out - you better have helicopters ready to take those 3,000 civilians inside the Green Zone, where I have been seven times and shot at. You better make sure you have protection for them, or let them die."?But when questioned about the episode afterward by the Hill newspaper, Biden backpedaled from his claim of being "shot at" and instead allowed: "I was near where a shot landed."?The senior senator from Delaware went on to say that some sort of projectile "landed" outside a building in the Green Zone where he and another senator had spent the night during a visit in December 2005. The lawmakers were shaving in the morning when they felt the building shake, Biden said."
Re: Media bias: Clinton vs Biden treatment
I heard about that this morning.
Biden needs to be muzzled.
But yes, very interesting that nobody cares given the fuss made over HRC's comment.
I read some piece over the weekend that Biden is getting virtually no media coverage. Nobody cares about him. He's not running for president, and he's just not interesting. I don't think it's a liberal bias, I think it's a news-is-entertainment bias. Apprently he's given like 90 interviews since being nominated and yet we almost never hear or see anything from them. Palin sneezes and it's national news, but Biden could have a heart attack and we wouldn't hear about it until 3 days later.
Amen. It's certainly his debate to lose on Thursday.?
Wasn't there something a couple of weeks ago he talked about his helicopter being brought down due to enemy fire but it turned out to be because of weather. I thought this was what this post was about when I saw the title!
Okay I was going to go to bed but now I will have to go google!
okay here's a link

Well, I certainly think Biden is more qualified than Palin and certainly more old news than Palin. But I do think the media has attacked Palin in many ways because she is a woman.
HRC was often attacked and degraded unfairly as a presidental candidate.
Not that either woman doesn't deserve some of their treatment but I think it is much harder to be a woman politician than a man.
Yes, I posted on another story of him being forced down. Of course, it was not mentioned it was because of snow. Kerry even joked about sending Biden out to battle terrorists with snowballs.
I can NOT believe he said another one. Sad..sad. I am surprised it has not taken on the same life as Clinton's gaffe. Well, not that surprised as if it had been Palin making the same comment.
Didn't go after him. For this-it is a sum of all type of thing. The one in this thread posted by caden is a different one. So that makes 2.
Let's take a look at the similarities between Senators Clinton and Biden:
Both Democrats with similar stances
Both have been in the spotlight for a while
Differences:
Clinton is a woman
Biden is running with Obama, not against him
So, the way I see it, this is either an example of the media's sexist bias or its pro-Obama bias.
Exactly Marquis.
