April 2008 Weddings
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I know I posted about the finances while you were traveling so idk if you saw it but I think from when yall talked about it before that I remembered that I liked what you guys did but I can't remember what it was lol
Re: Elisa
We have joint everything. Both paychecks go into the joint acct.
We use the AMEX all month and then pay it off. We each get a cash allowance every week. After it's gone, too bad.
Using the AMEX allows us to see exactly where our spending occurs. DH and I get together once a week to see where we are budget wise.
We save a lot of our income, about 30% goes into a savings acct or investment acct. This does not count 401K.
This works for us, but I know other do things differently and it works for them.
