Kirkland Trial= Sickening

I was browsing wcpo at lunch and saw an article where he admited that 'there's one more'. So I clicked and started reading, then they start adding new details about the Esme murder. I had purposely stayed away from all the articles and the blog because I just found the whole thing to be too much. Now that I've read that article I literally feel sick. My sister is 13 and if anyone had done anything to her like what he did to her, I just don't know what I'd do with myself. He had the nerve to add that talking about this brings him peace. Yea he doesn't deserve peace, he deserves to root in jail. That may be flameworthy, but I just couldn't believe what he put those girls through. It definitely makes you wonder about what kind of people are in this world.

Re: Kirkland Trial= Sickening

  • I'm with you on that... they were playing part of his confession tapes on the news this morning and I had to dive for the remote because it just got too disturbing to listen to.

And then when I got into work I got online and this is the first story I saw.

I know these are extreme cases, but seeing them back to back today hit me hard with just how sick some people are.

  • When I lived at the Forum, I would stand at the bus stop which is about as close to where the murder of #4 occurred as you can get. I still drive by it almost every day. *shudder*
  • I, personally, think he deserves to die for what he's done.  His attorneys were saying that he should be spared the death penalty because he confessed to the other murders which, if he hadn't, would never have been solved.  PUH-LEEZ.  So, he should be shown mercy for his gracious confessions??  Sick.

I'm sure there are varying opinions on capital punishment on this board...but my vote is kill the ba$tard.
