Hey Lesley,
I can't believe you know Steph -- I went to high school with her! And Terry is a really good family friend.
We have just started to think about Brooke's birthday party, but won't be having the huge 1st birthday luau that most locals have. At most we'll have around 60 people, but are actually considering doing much smaller than that.
I really need to get on this. . .
Re: Jaylee's momma
Now that I have my lunch break I can reply.. I know what a small world huh. I do think that is the great part of living and growing up in Hawaii you are bound to meet someone how knows someone.. Although I must say going away to school does help with that since I grew up on little 'ole Lana'i.
60 guests is still alot. But yeah we're having the whole HUGE baby's first luau. My MIL is already inviting half the island..Welll maybe not half but enough... I think it's crazy that we will have more people at her party then at our wedding (and we had 180 guests). ...
