I'm struggling with the whole covering up while bfing in public...sporting 40I boobs is tough to hide when you have a crying baby who's hungry. That said, I am okay with exposing my breasts to nurse (by the time she's latched on there's really not much to see) but I feel weird when I get looks from others. Anyway, I am just doing it again and again when I am out and am getting more comfortable each time (and better at it). I thought I might not be alone in this, so I wanted to share the video I found at YouTube that shows how to do it with ease and grace and nothing over the baby's head.

i've only BF a few times in public... i've done it in the car, with a blanket over me... and then in the airplane and airport when we were flying. as long as i have a blanket over me, i dont' feel too self conscious, though when we were in the airport and she started crying, i was worried everyone would turn and look at me (even though i was off near a gate/lounge that was pretty empty and she was covered) but when i looked up i realized that no one really cared and no one was looking my way anyway. so i agree it's an adjustment but the more you do it the more comfortable you get w/it.
the last few times i tried to BF miss A in the car, she wasn't having it (she cried and wouldn't latch after let down) and i'm not sure why... i wonder if it's due to the fast flow since i am sitting up instead of laying down like usual... but i hope it doesn't continue to be that way b/c i would hate to not be able to take her places b/c of that (though i guess we could always bring bottles of BM)
