Hi- I am planning a bridal shower for about 25-30 people in the Everett, Melrose, Saugus area. I am looking for any ideas for a place to hold it. If anyone has planned one in that area I would love to here about it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sharon
Re: Bridal Shower Venues
I just wanted to add my two cents.
I am planning a bridal shower for my BFF and was dead set on holding it somewhere - a restaurant, etc. But, everyone charges *outrageous* prices (at least in my opinion).
That convinced me to hold it in someone's home. And, with 25 - 30 people, it's totally doable. The shower I am planning is probably going to be closer to 50 but I'm still going to do it at home/someone else's house.
Buying the food from BJ's/the supermarket and making things yourselves saves soooooo much $$$$.
Good luck!
Oh, but if you're deadset on holding it somewhere, I would check out Knights of Columbus halls or lodges. That's where my mom held mine (her boyfriend is a member so they got it for free). I hear it's usually around $400 and you bring in all your own food/cake which saves a bundle as well.
