Teenybopper crushes
Hearing about Corey Haim's death yesterday made me sad because he was my very first teenybopper crush. My jr high BFF had a major crush on Sean Astin. I remember spending hours after school at her house, her bedroom floor covered with our Tiger Beats and Big Boppers, and we would "trade" those 81/2 x 11 size "posters" - she got Sean and I got Corey. That's so sad about Corey's drug abuse problems. Another crush I had was on River Pheonix - man's what's up with the drugs? Anyway, my question for you is:
Who was your first teenybopper crush? Bonus points for a PIP

I LUB LUB LUBBED Michael J Fox (around when Back To The Future 1 came out, Family Ties was on tv etc) in SUCH a bad way. I was convinced that I would be CRUSHED when the day came where I found out he married someone.
I was so jealous of his g/f in BTTF, I would narrow my eyes while I was watching the movie in some sort of effort to replace her head with mine on the screen.
Also, Matt Goss from Bros. Maybe even more than Michael J Fox. My heart was 100% his and his name was written all over my jeans, my desk, my schoolbooks, my sneakers, any smooth surface that ink would stick lol.

LOL totally kidding! I remember hearing they lip synced but I didn't care - to be honest, I think I was a little too young to really understand what that meant or why anyone would think it was a big deal.
