We're having our "Housewarming Open House", and while I know I'm supposed to just tell people to bring a dish to pass, I forgot to add that before sending the invitations out. ![]()
I feel like I'm missing something (or should add something)... suggestions? (I feel like it's a little carb heavy):
Beef & Chicken sliders (I'm going to try and make homemade brioche buns since no one locally carries slider buns) - Lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo, ketchup, mustards (I might have 2-3 kinds available)
Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos
Deviled Eggs
Olive Bruschetta (black & green olives, celery, garlic, Italian dressing on toasted baguette)
Caprese Skewers
Spinach Dip & Hummus (w/bread cubes and various vegetables - celery, peppers, mushrooms maybe, tomatoes)
Various nuts (roasted chili chickpeas, cashews, lightly salted peanuts - any others I should swap out or add?)
Fruit Bruschetta
Mini Chocolate PB cupcakes w/Whipped PB Cream Cheese Frosting
Mini Orange Marmalade-Ricotta Cupcakes w/Marmalade Buttercream
Re: Menu Help
Just admit you left out "Bring a dish to pass" so you could do the planning and not have to worry is people were bringing enough!
I think it sounds great! You could always add a salad if you wanted but don't really think you need it.
Yup. We see through you Paula!
Anyway, menu looks good to me.
When did we have that BYO-everything housewarming discussion? Because these were ordered early February, but USPS lost them (still haven't gotten the delivery) so we waited 2 1/2 weeks, called, got them resent (via UPS) and got them early March. LOL
