s/o brazilian wax

How bad is it?  I get my eyebrows waxed regularly but I have a feeling this is a lot different!  What kind of position are you in?  I'm nervous as hell, but really want to do it.

Re: s/o brazilian wax

  • It hurts! Much more than eyebrows, lol. But if you have a girl who knows what she's doing & gets it done fast then its over before you know it. When I've gotten it I have been laying down on a padded table, you have to move your legs to the side a few times. Then if you want your behind done you have to get on hands & knees! Embarassing but it lasts so long its worth it!
  • I heard one girl describe this to me as if you are a baby and getting your diaper changed. This is almost how it looks.

  •   Try sugaring instread of waxing, it's much gentler to the tender bits.

Funny how 10-20 years ago most girls wouldn't be caught dead with a brazilian. Now everybody, even the teenie boppers  want to go bare or nearly bare.

  • Another question about waxing ( I have an appt. next week):

Do I need to trim up first?  I'm afraid of doing so and making it too short.  Is this something they'll do?

  • Leave it alone. If it's too long they will trim it for you.

  • I love it and will never go back to shaving!! For me, it doesn't hurt that bad.  I have gotten used to it and actually look forward to it.  I also use No Scream Cream that numbs the area and it works wonders!!

As far as positions go, if you go completely bald, front to back, you may have to get on your hands and knees, but my girl just has me hold my leg up at a 90 degree angle.  It is a bit awkward the first time around, but totally worth it.

    Good luck!

  • I go every month and its not that bad... especially if you keep it up... It also depends on the waxer. You are completely exposed though, legs up, practically behind your head and spread! I love it... its gotten so I cant stand missing my appt....dont go the week before your period because your skin is more sensitive then...good luck!
  • i didnt mind it at all, and that came to a big suprise to me. i was defently shy about being naked from the waist down infront of a total stranger but a friend of mine came with me and was in the room holding me hand for my first time. her being there made me feel more comftorable about the situation.

This. Sans the cream. I think my body is just used to waxing now.
