interesting article on sleep and daylight savings time
Re: interesting article on sleep and daylight savings time
I was thinking about this while I was walking today. Why does everyone look at it as losing an hour of sleep instead of losing an hour of awake time? I don't buy it - I just sleep an hour later if needed.
On the flip side, sleep is extremely important. The doctor of the guy that had the seizure said it could have been caused by sleep deprivation!
I believe it. Personally, someone who grew up never having to change their clocks (grew up in AZ) to someone who now does, it affects me. It's hard enough for me to get to sleep at my normal time anyway on Sunday's, but it is especially hard for me to get used to the new time change the first week of DST.
I didn't realize it causes so many heart attacks though
