Went to see Alice in Wonderland.
Meh. Visually it was very pretty, but it wasn't at all what I would expect from Tim Burton. The story is kind of crazy anyway, but I just thought he'd find some way to put his own mark on it. There was some extra gore, but that's about it.
If Johnny Depp & HB Carter weren't in it you'd never know it was a Burton film.
Re: Went to see Alice in Wonderland.
I haven't seen the movie yet but from what it sounds like, he stuck with the book.
I just finished the book a couple of days ago and it would be a tad difficult to put a dark spin on it although Burton does that with just about everything. I was disappointed at the whole 3D thing.
No babysitter means no theater for us =( Will have to wait to watch it on my own screen lol
